I always wanted to be a dancer…so I studied dance in Greece and performed at a professional level for several years. However, recurring injuries led me to discover Pilates for the first time, initially as a rehabilitation tool following a knee injury.
Very quickly I realised that Pilates made sense to me!  Every muscle, ligament, bone must function in unity to create balance, harmony and healthy movement.
After moving to London, I trained with the Pilates Foundation in both matwork and equipment, I then continued to deepen my understanding of the body by studying Sports Massage at the London School of Sports Massage, further shaping my approach to mindful, informed teaching.
After years of teaching in a variety of studios and working with a wide range of bodies, I opened Purple Room Pilates in 2023-a bespoke space in Muswell Hill dedicated to individual attention and thoughtful, tailored movement.
The studio is based within A P Physiotherapy Clinic, where I have the privilege of collaborating with experienced physiotherapists and massage therapists. This environment continues to deepen my understanding of the body and enriches my approach to teaching Pilates.
In 2024, I was delighted to welcome Dimitrios Stoantzikis to the studio. I first met him as a teacher while attending classes for my own practice and was immediately drawn to his clear instruction, attention to detail and genuine care in supporting and correcting clients. Dimitris brings a calm, warm energy to every session, along with a sense of humour that makes each class both effective and thoroughly enjoyable.
